  11. I have 17 qualifications discluding my current studies.

1. What made you want to start a blog?

I had a general love for writing in general and when I discovered the online community of blogging I thought I’d give it a try. There’s just something about writing posts, knowing you’ve done it and getting feedback from it that I just love.

2. Favourite TV show as a kid?

Ooh this is a hard one. As a kid could mean any ages up to about 16 right? I’m gonna have to go with Hannah Montana. Not even sorry, I used to dance and sing along to that show!

3. Favourite Musical?

Well, I don’t go to watch musicals in person so it’s going to have to be one from a DVD. And honestly, I’m torn between Mamma Mia and Across The Universe.

4. If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

Straight up full-time author or blogger. Something that involves writing and being creative is the job I need!

5. What’s the hobby you’ve stuck at the longest?

Honestly blog writing. It’s the only thing I’ve stuck with, I write so many blog posts but I don’t always post them. Some things are just good to get off your chest.

6. Favourite meal of the day?

Lasagne and chips! I can’t even talk about my love for lasagne, I’m the human equivalent of Garfield.

7. Do you prefer watching films, or reading books?

It honestly depends on my mood if I’m feeling sleepy or lazy I’ll whack on a film. If I’m bored or have spare time I’ll read books.

8. What’s your favourite kind of blog posts to read?

Lifestyle/life updates! I enjoy reading about what’s happening with other people, whether it’s their experiences of traveling somewhere new, or moving houses. I think it can sometimes be inspiring reading about these kinds of posts.

9. Who is your favourite ‘Friend’?

I’m not sure whether this means my own friends or someone from the TV show friends?! Well, I pretty much have no friends, David is my best-friend and boyfriend. And from the TV show, it’s going to have to be Chandler, he’s hilarious.

10. What’s your favourite accent to hear?

Australian, I just think it’s funny, to be honest.

11. Would you rather live in the city or the country?

It depends on where really, if by the country side you mean a house in the middle of nowhere and not really by any towns. Then I’d say city. As much as I love peace and quiet, I can’t drive so I’d rather not be stuck out in the middle of nowhere. (Unless I’m retired and old)

Mollie, Cajun, Bex, Georgia, Charlie, Izzie, Sarah, Katharine Anne, Kerry, Danielle, Hallieblog.

1. What is your favourite type of blog post to write and why?

2. What is the best movie you’ve seen from 2017 so far?

3. If you could travel anywhere next week, where would you go?

4. Who is your all-time favourite band?

5. Choose one: Flats or heels?

6. What camera(s) do you own?

7. How do you stay motivated and organised with blogging?

8. What do you typically do on weekends?

9. If you could advise people to read one book, what book would it be?

10. Blogging, YouTubing or both?

People Who Inspire Me

I’m not going to write about this in any particular order, as everyone who inspires me are equally as important. I’ve always wanted to write a post like this, as I feel everyone needs someone to inspire them to give them hope. I wanted to publish this so if I ever feel like I need inspiring, I can look back on this post. And hopefully, it helps you guys reading this to remember many great people have walked or still are walking this earth.

J.K.Rowling; An obvious choice in one sense as she’s an inspiration to most youngsters and aspiring authors. But this amazing woman came up with the idea of Harry Potter on a train ride during 1990, by the time she had finished it her mother passed away and she was near poverty. Her idea was rejected by 12 publishers yet she kept persisting with her dream to make Harry Potter known to the world. She is now a billionaire and the first author to become one. Despite her hard times, she channeled it into her writing and dare I say is one of the best authors of our time.

Felix Kjellberg better known as PewDiePie; He is the worlds most subscribed YouTuber. I recently watched a video of him just telling us about his journey in a casual interview for about an hour, and the fact he basically went from small jobs to a worldwide public figure is amazing. He puts in so much effort and time into his videos, to make a living off it and entertain everyone who watches him around the world. He’s hilarious and smart, he doesn’t deserve all the hate he keeps getting or the media rubbing his name in the dirt.
His YouTube Channel;

Scotty Cranmer; An American BMX rider who owns a sports/bike shop. He has gained many medals and sponsors such as Vans Shoes, Fox Clothing, and Monster Energy Drink. He constantly uploads videos to his YouTube channel, and recently had a nasty accident suffering from facial fractures, cerebral hemorrhage and damage to his C4 and C5 vertebrae. Yet after that accident, he’s still pushing himself forward to get back on his bike. Just from his videos, you can tell he’s a genuine person, who believes in himself and others if they’re willing to have the motivation to get to where they want. It seems almost rare to see this kind of drive in people and it’s so refreshing.
His YouTube Channel;

The 14th Dalai Lama; At the age of 2, he was picked out as the rebirth of the thirteenth Dalai Lama and sent for formal monastic training to become a Buddhist monk and eventually become the spiritual head of the Tibetan people. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, and for an assignment I had to write about him and I read his speech which was very inspiring to me. The Dalai Lama speaks such wisdom and kindness, he makes me want to become a better person.

“I am convinced that everyone can develop a good heart and a sense of universal responsibility with or without religion.”

“I don’t want to convert people to Buddhism — all major religions, when understood properly, have the same potential for good.” – from Nobel prize acceptance speech 1989

My Boyfriend David; I’ve known this amazing person since our college days, and I’ve been in a relationship with him since November 2015. He has recently applied for his dream job and is going through the training process right now. I’m so proud of him for doing what he really wants. He’s kind-hearted, hilarious, generous, and the one person who’s recently brought out the best in me and has motivated me to go for what I want too. He’s the reason behind a lot of the things I do. He’s my soul mate, best friend and love all in one.

My mother Tracy; Of course I was going to say my mom because every amazing mother sacrifices everything and anything for her children. She made a brave decision to have me at the age of fifteen, I got to grow up with a fun loving mother who has made me who I am to this day. And looking back on it all I owe her so much. Even though I’m twenty-one she still runs around doing things for me, she’s the most active and strongest woman I know.

My grandad Alan; So not only did he run a pub but also a shop and a cafe. He was a true business man and his life was taken from him too soon. He worked his hardest not only for his own pride but for his family. And when he met face to face with cancer, he was the bravest man I’ve ever seen.

So that’s who inspires me. Let me know in the comments if we’re inspired by the same people, or if not let me know who inspires you!

6 Reasons Why I Blog

A lot of people ask me why I blog, so I thought I’d make a blog post on why I blog. As I know a lot of people blog for different reasons, and I have six… so here it goes in no particular order, just what comes to my mind.

1.) When writing personal posts, blogging is a way of getting things off my chest. Everyone deals with their problems or worries in different ways, I like to write about mine. Of course certain things I would never publicly post about, but blogging is a way of venting. For example, I could post about something in the media/news to get my thoughts out there if it’s been bugging me.

2.) I love being creative with the writing and photos. There’s nothing I love more than writing and taking photos, and experimenting with them. It’s amazing to look back on it all, you’d be surprised at how much you improve or/and change.

3.) The community is huge and the majority are friendly. I’ve spoken to some lovely people and hopefully, I get to meet some of them this year! I think this is such a bonus for those who have had crappy experiences with people in the past. I only surround myself with positive people who bring out the best in me, and I love talking to and meeting new people.

4.) To document pretty much everything; my writing, thoughts, advice, achievements, and memories. It’s an easy way putting whatever you want out there for people to see and read. What’s even better is that I can look back over everything I’ve done, and see how far I’ve come and the amazing experiences I’ve had.

5.) As a portfolio, due to me studying creative writing it helps to keep a blog as it is quite literally a portfolio. Which may be of use for future careers. Of course, I use my blog for more of a personal use rather than business/educational reasons. But I write in a way that I’d talk to people, no one wants to read dull blog posts where the person’s personality just doesn’t get across to its readers.

6.) Just for myself, for a piece of mind and it’s something I enjoy doing any time of the day. I genuinely just love writing, and being able to share parts of my life with others across the internet is amazing. There are so many positives to starting a blog.

Let me know if you have a blog in the comments below, and the reasons why you love blogging!
